Memorial Service for SPC Erica Alecksen
The Putnam County Sheriff's Office escort will be leaving the Greensboro Airport at approximately 11:40 A.M. on Wednesday, July 18th with the body of SPC Erica Alecksen. For individuals wanting to line up on the route, the processional will be going up Highway 44 to Eatonton, staying straight onto Sumter Avenue, turning right on Madison Avenue, circling around the front of the courthouse, and then exiting left onto Jefferson Avenue. We will proceed along Jefferson Avenue to the Great Hall at the United Methodist Church. The body of SPC Erica Alecksen will lie in state in the Great Hall of the First United Methodist Church from 2:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. on Wednesday. The Memorial Service will be held thereafter at the First United Methodist Church in Eatonton at 6:30 P.M. that evening.
